REF and north Queensland Tribal elders are hosting an international elder festival.

This gathering is an opportunity for elders from around the world to come together and share knowledge and help build a plan for the future management of our planet.

This festival will be open to the public.
This festival aims to generate an opportunity for representatives from indigenous tribes from around the world to have their voices heard and cultures respected.
This festival is also a way for the public to gain awareness about traditional earth based cultures and how they may hold the key to planetary survival.

REF supports projects that develop social capital and assist in creating cultural development tool kits. These tool kits can help strengthen the concept of a shared global cultural heritage.
